This firmware update introduces a change in the receiver’s behavior. After installation, the receiver will no longer display the ACT logo or its IP address when no video signal is present. Instead, the screen will remain blank (black).
This update is particularly intended for environments where blank screens are preferred when no content is being transmitted—for example, in public spaces or secure installations. By removing the on-screen display of the receiver’s IP address, the update also reduces potential security risks.
If you wish to revert to the original behavior, you can easily restore the previous firmware. The original firmware file is included in the ZIP package and can be uploaded in the same way as the update file.

Firmware Update Instructions
- Access the receiver’s WebGUI (default IP address: 192.168.10.10).

In the menu, navigate to the Update section.

Under SOC Update, click Browse.
- Select the appropriate .BIN firmware file (only use files provided by ACT).
- Click Update and wait for the process to complete. This may take up to 60 seconds.
