  • Updated

All USB Type-C AOC cables include active components in their connectors. The Source/Host connector contains a transmitter PCB, while the Display/Device connector houses a receiver PCB.

If you want to use one of our USB Type-C AOC cables to connect a hub or hard drive to your PC, we recommend following these steps:

  1. Connect the USB Type-C AOC Source/Host connector to a USB 3.0 port on your PC.
  2. Connect the USB Type-C AOC Display/Device connector to the hub or hard drive. If required, power on the hub.
  3. Once all devices are connected, open Windows Device Manager to confirm that the devices are recognized and functioning properly.
  4. If you encounter any issues:
  • Shut down your PC
  • Unplug the USB Type-C AOC cable from your PC and the hub or hard drive
  • Restart your PC and reconnect the hub or hard drive, starting again from Step 1.
