AC7600 How to add the Video Capture Card to OBS Studio (Windows)

Setting up the AC7600 capture card in OBS Studio is explained below. OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) is a free and open-source cross-platform live streaming software and is often used by streamers to stream PS5 games to popular streaming platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Gaming, or Facebook Gaming.

In the simple steps below, we show how to add the AC7600 to OBS studio. During the making of this manual, we used OBS Studio software version 30.0.2

 

Add capture input (Windows)

1. Click on the plus sign to add a new sourceAdd capture input_1.png

2. Add a Video Capture Device

3. Give the source a name e.g. “AC7600”

4. Choose a device (AC7600)

5. Set the right resolution. In the example below we used 3840x2160 at 30 fps. Make sure to select the right settings for:

- Video Format: NV12

- Color Space: Rec. 709

- Audio Output Mode:  Capture Audio only

Click on OK to add the AC7600 to the OBS-software.
