When the installation of the drivers has been successfully completed; reboot your Laptop/PC.
Connecting Display Monitors
Connect, up to 2x HDMI or 2x DP monitors.
Refer to the link below, for more information about the maximum supported resolution and refresh rate.

Connecting the PSU and Docking Station onto Laptop/PC
Connect the included PSU (135W) onto the Docking Station and connect the included USB-A connection cable, onto the AC7160 connection port ((USB-C) marked with a symbol).
Connect the other end of the USB-A cable onto your PC/Laptop, either by the included USB-C adapter or with the USB-A connector.
Charging Laptop and connected peripherals
The Docking Station has a Power Delivery pass-through port, which supports a maximum of 96W Power Delivery (PD).
With this, the AC7160 is capable to sufficiently charge your Laptop (use the included USB-C adapter).
Please note! When using the Docking Station with an USB-A laptop, the Power Delivery (PD) passthrough function is disabled. In that case, the Laptop will require its own power supply to be connected for battery charging.
However, the USB-C port on front of this device, marked with 20W, concerns a USB 3.2 Gen2 port and provides 20W of fast charging power for your smartphone or tablet, and does not depend on which USB connection type (USB-A or USB-C) is used.
Limitations, in case the Docking Station is connected by the means of a USB-A port, instead of a USB-C port
Charging your Laptop by the means of the included USB-A connection cable, is not possible (use the USB-C adapter (The laptop must also be equipped with a USB-C port that supports charging via USB-C)).
Opposed to a USB-C connection, USB-A has a lower data transfer rate. The data transfer rate of the present USB-C ports on the Docking Station, will be limited due to the technical data rate limitation for USB-A.
Power OFF/ON the AC7160 Docking Station
The AC7160 will be powered ON automatically, as soon as it is connected into the wall socket, by its included power supply.
The Power button is located on the right side of the Docking Station.
If needed, you are able to power down the AC7160, while it is still connected by its cable.
The Power button, turns the Docking Station and all peripherals OFF or ON, all at the same time.
Enabling “Screen Recording” permission MacOS
To make the external connected monitors work on your MacOS the option “Screen Recording” permission must be enabled on your MacOS Operating System.
Follow the link below, on how to enable “Screen Recording” permission in MacOS.

The notification "DisplayLink Manager" would like to record this computer's screen" is applicable for MacOS 10.15 version or higher.
K-Lock (Kensington lock) and Kensington Nano slot options
For the AC7160 are 2 optional K-Lock (Kensington lock 3 x 7 mm and Nano lock 2.5 x 6 mm) present, in order to secure the Docking Sation onto a stationary object like a Desk/table.
You will need a K-slot Security cable lock or Nano slot Security cable lock, to make use of one of these options.
The security cables lock for both K-lock options, are not included with the AC7160 Docking Station!
